Did you know:

When biohazard waste is improperly managed, it poses serious risk of contracting dangerous diseases to healthcare workers, sanitation workers and the general public. Many people are not aware of what is considered a “biohazard incident”. All chemicals spills, raw sewage , mold, blood, body fluids and even animal carcasses are considered biohazards. The HIV/Hepatitis virus can live in dry blood for 7 to 10 days. Black mold Stachybotrys Chartarum (Atra) is a serious toxic mold that colonizes well in high-cellulose areas such as wet hay, carpet, leaves ,drywall, wall paper, insulation, and ceiling tiles. There’s about 15 species of Stachybotrys, known throughout the world. Unless the area being cleaned is properly sealed, once airborne, the Stachybotrys spores produce mycotoxicosis that can spread to other areas and takes only 24 to 48 hours to germinate and grow. This type of mold can cause hemosiderosis (bleeding in the lungs) and is thought to be a possible cause of the sick building syndrome. To avoid the risk of exposure have all biohazards properly cleaned, sanitize and removed.
